If you have a child who is over 21 but under 26 and is returning to school, be sure to contact SSQ Insurance in order to update their coverage, and ensure that all information is current and accurate. Simply call their member service department at 1-888-651-8181 and let a representative know that their overage dependent child is still a full-time student in post-secondary. The deadline for updating overage dependant information is September 30.
With two new 3-year grants from the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care to support midwives, the AOM Benefits Trust is pleased to announce partnerships for disability case management and a virtual healthcare solution to help you manage your health and wellbeing.
Starting today, all midwives will now have access to Dialogue, a virtual telehealth platform.
Dialogue gives you access to healthcare professionals via a mobile or web app. You can chat with a nurse for any questions related to your health or consult a doctor via a secure video if a diagnosis or prescription is required, completely free of charge. About 70% of typical walk-in clinic cases can be addressed via Dialogue.
We encourage you to log on to Dialogue and create your account today!

The Ministry of Health and Long-term Care has put out a call to all front-line healthcare workers, including inactive midwives or midwives on leave, to return to practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you decide to suspend or terminate your current leave and return to practice, the AOMBT is required to reactivate your benefits, effective the day of your return. This is in adherence to AOMBT policies, but more importantly, to ensure the safety and continued coverage of our members.
If you are a new registrant, or returning from other circumstances, you will need to fill out and submit the AOMBT Enrollment Form within 30 days of returning to active status. Otherwise, you will be required to submit medical evidence of insurability, which may be difficult to obtain during the current pandemic.
Unsure whether you are enrolled in the benefits plan? Contact the AOM Benefits Trust at email@example.com or 1-866-418-3773 for more information.
