As of March 15, 2023, you’ll notice new functionalities in the claim tool in the Customer Centre. Submitting claims online will be simplified. The process for checking if you’re eligible to submit a claim will also be more intuitive, with more health care categories available.
Improvements at-a-glance:
- Simplified and intuitive search engine to select the proper health care claim.
- Benefit eligibility: more health care categories and summarized protection.
- Provider search: provider type generated in real time in search results.
- Colour-coded claim status indicates if a claim requires special attention.
Not registered for the Customer Centre yet? Activate your online account in order to submit claims online or via the app by going to the Beneva/SSQ customer centre. Click "Activate account," then "Plan Member." You can find your policy and certificate number on your Beneva/SSQ benefits card, which you’ll receive at your home address 4-6 weeks after enrolling, or by calling the Trust. To mail your claim, download the appropriate claim form from the Beneva/SSQ customer centre, and submit it to the address on the form.
