Midwife plan members can access the Desjardins plan member website to review and make changes to your Group Retirement Savings Plan (GRSP), set and track retirement goals, access planning tools and view educational videos. You’ll need your group number and your participant number (found on your Enrolment Certificate) to create a user name and password. Call centre hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 8:00pm EST.
The Association of Ontario Midwives (AOM) has the latest news and information on midwifery in Ontario. AOM members can log in to access reference documents, updates on government and hospital relations, practice protocols, policies, news, meetings and events. Through the AOM, midwives can access AOM On Call, HIROC insurance, and ARAG’s Legal Expense Insurance.
The AOMBT is partnering with HumanaCare to provide a comprehensive Member and Family Assistance Program (MFAP). The program includes confidential support and counselling for individuals experiencing work-life challenges, as well as an online portal with information on a variety of issues related to health and wellness. The MFAP is available to members and their families, who can access services using the member’s name and AOMBT.
Dialogue offers virtual primary care via chat, video, or phone call, including direct access to doctors who can consult, diagnose, prescribe medication to be delivered to your door, or refer you to an in-person specialist if that’s what you need. Access to Dialogue is supported by a three-year grant from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Genex services provide additional support for midwives applying for disability, and in the event a midwife is declined disability coverage. Access to Genex is offered by referral through the AOMBT. Access to Genex is supported by a three-year grant from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
