Testing Mode for Benefits Invoice uploads

Are you responsible for uploading monthly invoices for your practice? Do you sometimes encounter errors when uploading? We've now implemented a “testing mode” to make the process smoother!
A new "Testing Mode" checkbox has been added to File Services, allowing users to safely test file uploads by processing the file and generating logs without applying changes to the data, ensuring no impact on actual data, and can be tested by logging in to iBenefits, downloading the "BORN Import" template, adding data, and uploading the file with Testing Mode enabled.
When Testing Mode is enabled, the file will be processed as usual, and all logs will be generated. No changes will be applied to the data, allowing you to evaluate if the file processes correctly without impacting actual data.
Testing Steps
- Login to iBenefits
- Go to File Services > Download the BORN Import file
- Add data for new or update existing member in the file
- Go to File Services > Upload the file in file services via the Upload button on the bottom-left
- Choose the file
- Select the check box to run in Testing Mode
- Upload the file.

The file should upload without errors. If you see an error symbol next to the file, it indicates an issue with the upload. Click the error symbol to view the File Logs, which will provide details on why the upload failed.

Note: You still need to upload the benefits funding report the usual way (not testing mode) to ensure that the data are loaded into the system. Uploading it on testing and getting a 'completed' status does not load the file for processing in the system.
