UPDATED: Your MIR is available to view and download until July 15.

June 25, 2025

Investments Operational updates

Your individualized access will close July 15 as AOMBT develops a new MIR process for 2026 that is more secure and simpler for members to receive their annual statements. Check your email communication from AOMBT for more information. In the meantime, AOMBT is now providing “on demand” member reports going forward by emailing info@midwivesbenefits.ca

The Member Information Report (MIR) is an annual financial statement compiled by the AOM Benefits Trust providing midwife plan members timely, accurate information about your benefits funding and other programs which you participate in, including:

Please note that the portal to access your MIR and tax receipts will be closed after July 15 for required maintenance. We encourage you to download any necessary documents before this date. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our systems to better serve you.

How to access your report:

Access your MIR at https://aombtmir.midwivesbenefits.ca/login or select Member Information Report from the Quick Links in the top right corner of this page.

For your Username and Password:

  • Your username is the same email address you use to login to the AOMBT Portal
    • Please note that changes you make to the Username used to access the MIR will not automatically update the Username used to access the AOMBT portal. If you would like to change your AOMBT portal Username, please contact info@midwivesbenefits.ca
  • For those members logging in for the first time, your default password is the first three digits of your Social Insurance Number and your year of birth (example: if your SIN is 789654378 and date of birth is 01/01/1970, your password will be 7891970). Once you have logged in, you will be required to reset your password.

The MIR is an important financial planning tool for midwives. It reflects your total benefits funding and highlights how these funds were allocated to the various components of the AOMBT programs and services you participate in.

You can easily print a copy of the MIR should you require a hardcopy, and, if applicable, you can also view and download your T3s and T4As as well as tax receipts for your supplementary fees, and health and dental premiums.

Your Group Retirement Savings Plan (GRSP) receipts for the 2024 tax year and first 60 days will be mailed to you directly from Desjardins. If you wish to access them sooner, you can download these by logging on to the Desjardins website at: dfs.ca/GroupPlanMember (click on "Your account").

Should you require details about your total benefits funding, please speak to your practice directly.

If you have difficulty accessing your MIR or wish to receive a copy by email, please contact us at 1-877-77-AOMBT (1-877-772-6628) or info@midwivesbenefits.ca.

If you've created an account but find yourself unable to log in or have forgotten your password, simply utilize the 'Forgot Password' option available here:

In the event that you've forgotten your security answers, please reach out to us at info@midwivesbenefits.ca. We're here to assist you in resetting your password back to its default.
