It’s official! As mentioned previously, our insurance carrier, SSQ Insurance, has joined forces with La Capitale and has changed their name to Beneva effective today, January 1, 2023. As always, the Trust remains committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Over the course of the coming weeks, SSQ Insurance will send you an official communication about the change to Beneva.

In January 2020, our benefits carrier, SSQ Insurance, joined forces with La Capitale to become Beneva. A new name, but the same caring approach based on mutualist values that reflects SSQ's motto: People protecting people.

A key step in the transition to Beneva was completed in July, when they created the @beneva.ca domain name for their email addresses.

SSQ needs to hear from you BETWEEN JULY 1 and SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 in order to ensure your dependent students have active benefits for the school period of August 15, 2022—September 30, 2023.
