Need someone to talk to?

The holidays aren’t easy for everyone—schedules are disrupted, friends and family may be far away. If you’re struggling, reach out for support.

AOMBT plan members have a number of resources available through TELUS Health, your MFAP. Midwives also have access to Dialogue. This includes midwives on leave, EMCMs, midwives with less than 10 BCCs, or midwives with “inactive” AOM membership status.

Canada also recently launched a suicide hotline. Anyone anywhere in Canada may call or text 988 for immediate help in a variety of languages, including specialized services for youths, Indigenous people, and other groups.

If your needs are less urgent but you need help navigating government and community-based, non-clinical health and social services, call 211 for help and support.

Help is available. Please reach out if you need it.
