Effective May 1, The Trust’s Member and Family Assistance Program (MFAP) through Beneva will be provided by TELUS Health/LifeWorks Health (formerly Optima).

Your MFAP provides you with supports that aim to improve health and wellness while you’re working, resolve physical and psychological problems in the short term, and prevent unscheduled absences such as disability leaves. Available to you and your family, the program offers three hours of counselling, including up to one hour of legal or financial counselling; access to earlier medical appointments; personalized support for changes to lifestyle habits; and help with finding a retirement home or childcare services. Additionally, they offer an online cognitive behavioural therapy program (CBT), and a Wellbeing platform.
